Schebler, Working Like a Well-Oiled Machine
Bridge’s Catering in the Stern Center is capable of cooking meals for hundreds with their state-of-the-art kitchen. But, to get there, they needed help. At Schebler Specialty Fabrication, our customer-centric focus and project management specialty allowed us to fabricate and install a custom restaurant exhaust unit, cabinetry, and dishwasher hood to meet the needs of the customer.
Bridge’s Catering’s kitchen is a great example of Schebler’s Power of One. As a cohesive unit, Schebler Specialty Fab, HVAC, Chimney, and Architectural Metalcraft divisions worked seamlessly.
To produce a kitchen hood capable to handle all of the fumes from the kitchen equipment, we fabricated a custom stainless steel 45ft long multi-function hood.
While make-up air systems are always necessary in commercial kitchens, this project required careful calculation and fabrication of its make-up air system and ducts. To offset the negative pressure leaving through the hood, we worked with the customer to design the system and fabricate the necessary elements to accommodate a hood of this size.
With a make-up air unit on the roof, our experts brought duct work down through two floors to connect with the kitchen hood to create a short cycle.
In addition to fabricating some elements of the project including more than 100ft of duct work, our expert craftsmen installed the entire system, welding the kitchen hood on site.
At Schebler, we work to produce quality fabrications, as efficiently and effectively as possible. Bridge’s Catering at the Stern Center experienced Schebler’s Power of One. For your next custom metal fabrication project, contact Schebler Specialty Fab.
